So I’ve made it 18 days in my blogging challenge 🎉 🎉 🎉
It hasn’t been a breeze. My venture definitely wasn’t helped by the fact that March crept up on me! With the year racing by, full time employment, my new responsibilities as a CS Leader and finishing off an online course definitely has not made the first couple of weeks of my challenge easy.
To be honest, I feel quite burnt out. However, I’m definitely not short of ideas and have a whole list of awesome posts I can’t wait to write! It seems with all my adventures I’m not the best at time management, or maybe there really just isn’t not enough time in a day. Let’s roll with the later?
But, the benefits of my blogging challenge have already started to trickle in, with the positives definitely outweighing the negatives.
Well you now know the negatives, so what are the positives?
I’ve finally gotten into the routine of making time to write! As simple as it sounds, this was something I got out practice with and have been struggling with. During this challenge I’ve managed at least an hour of writing time, even if it’s broken over small 15 minute periods throughout the day. Being able to spend this time tapping away at my keyboard has been amazing and I can’t wait to continue my new daily ritual.
In addition to this, my blog is set to have its best month in a very long time, if not ever! I’ve already blown February’s statistics out of the water and we’re only halfway through the month.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for joining the ride which is the Ruby White Road. Without all of your support, kind words and encouragement I would probably have quit this crazy endeavour by now. So thank you!
With 13 days left in March, I can’t wait to smash this blogging challenge. I’ll be covering some of my favourite surf and travel topics so don’t forget to subscribe (if you haven’t already) to ensure you don’t miss out on any of the action!
What happens after March?
Don’t worry I won’t be disappearing. Feeling the strain of posting daily, I plan to keep you all posted a few times a week instead and I’m super excited to spend more time on some of the bigger topics I’m dying to share with you. Additionally, I will be keeping you up to date with my everyday travel and surf shenanigans as well as my never ending injuries.
Have an awesome weekend legends!
Happy travels,
Ruby White
